Melissa listens to hours of podcasts on most days. She started the habit with the intention of taking long walks, but podcasts proved to be more addicting than exercise. She records, edits and mixes podcasts for the library.

Alan May works as a librarian for Knox County Public Library. In his spare time, he reads and writes poetry. He has taught at the University of Montevallo, the University of Alabama, and the University of Tennessee. His poems have appeared in The New Orleans Review, The Hollins Critic, The New York Quarterly, The Idaho Review, The Hong Kong Review, and others. His latest book is Ad Infinitum! New and Selected Poems 1995-2025.
